Mike Ross

Mike is a combat veteran and a retired Army Colonel. He began his military career in 1972 and retired in 2009 with 37 years of military service. He served in Iraq as the Deputy Brigade Commander of the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and was also dual-hatted as the Garrison Commander of Camp TAJI.

Mike has received numerous awards, to include: the Legion of Merit; the Bronze Star; and the Meritorious Service Medal. He was also awarded the Combat Action Badge and the Ancient Order of Saint Barbara, and in 2011, he was inducted into the Arkansas Military Academy’s Officer Candidate School Hall of Fame and is a past Commander of American Legion Post 1 and the Past President of the Arkansas Veterans Coalition.
